Synopsis

Mexico City is consumed one month every four years with the celebration of the Soccer World Cup. Three stories occur during the 2002, 2006 and 2010 tournaments. Each linked to create a portrait of corruption, violence and vengeance in society.  A cop, a hostage and a wife define their destinations, each with their own journey of survival.  A hit in film festivals all over the world and a multi-award winner at the 2012 Ariel Awards, Days of Grace will leave you breathless!

Sinopsis

La Ciudad de México es consumida durante un mes cada cuatro años con la celebración de la Copa Mundial de Futbol.  Tres historias, desarrolladas durante las justas mundialistas de 2002, 2006 y 2010 se enlazan para crear un retrato de la corrupción, la violencia y la venganza de la sociedad.  Un policía, un rehén y una esposa definen sus destinos, cada uno con su propia manera de luchar para sobrevivir. Todo un suceso en los festivales de cine de todo el mundo y ganador de varios Premios Ariel 2012, ¡Días de Gracia te dejará sin aliento!

Everardo Gout
Studied film at the University Center of Cinematographic Studies in Mexico City and later at the Film Academy in New York and the Hollywood Film Institute.  He worked as a second assistant director on the film Romeo and Juliet by Baz Luhrmann where he met and began his long collaboration with photographer Luis Sansans.  He has produced two Mexican films: "Kill Love" and "Green Stones" and over twenty short films and documentaries, including one focused on World Cup 2006.
